Expected a bit more to be honest but that was maybe because my expectations were too high after reading some other reviews.
Frist experience was meeting the eurocamp staff not great to be honest they need to make sure families can find the huts without walking around for 40 minutes with bags and kids... without help ... (you can check your phone when people have got to their location)
Customer service was extremely poor, in my opinion went to a few eurocamp trips this service was the worst.
Hotel staff were friendly but some activities need upgrading running out of certain colours while stone painting. If it was after an hour or two I'd understand but 5 mins into the activities that's extremely poor. Entertainment was good at night but 8pm for 4 year olds was a bit late but that depends on the parents. As lego and face painting always keeps kids happy. The kids did enjoy it but we struggled to find activities when the weather was cold or raining as the pool is not heated and was freezing so that ruled swimming out. And 12.30 -3.30 things are closed mad that on a family holiday 😒
The huts are clean and well maintained but was more the pool area and especially the playground that were a let down. 2 swings and a slide for the amount of families was ridiculous. Amazing the restaurant down the road 5 mins walk the playground was much, much better and had quality food would highly recommend going there. I went in September so it was quite but could only imagine when it's busy season.
Not for me so I'll give italy a skip next time.
Very nice set up. The beach only a few minutes away. Great restaurants, Nice shop, Brilliant for kids as well. In the night time is so quiet.
A nice releaxing camping site for vaccation, we rented a mobilehome RIVIERA, close to the little pool,
Really nice supermarked, it had all we needed, cloce to little city. We have been comming at casavio camping for over 20 years.
We spend 3 weeks in July in Italy this summer, 2 weeks at Camping Ca' Savio and 1 week at a 5 star camping site. To be honest we did not have a lot of expectation before coming to Camping Ca' Savio because of it only having 3 stars, and to be even more honest we booked the last week at a 5 star site... to make sure we at least finished of well. It turned out that Camping Ca' Savio is the best camping site we have ever been to. We have tried multiple 5 star sites in South of France and also one this year in Italy, but there is no doubt about Camping Ca' Savio has given us the best holiday to remember. Lovely, clean and new common areas, happy and helpfull staff, pool areas which suited our family, brilliant mobile home with lots of outdoor space, the best and most clean we've ever been to. We are coming back next year, actually we've already sent our early bird request.

We spent 7 nights at Ca Savio chosen specifically for its close location to Venice as part of a longer tour around Europe. The site is extremely large and as such is noisy at all times. It is very family dominated with the pool packed full of families and children from the moment it opens (quite late... 10am with queues outside) to closure at 7. The beach is very close by and easily accessible and was the saving grace for us with this campsite. It is clean, sandy and with safe, warm waters. The beach bar is nice and reasonably priced.
The pitches at Ca Savio are beneath pine trees which we imagined would be cooling. Quite the opposite however, the heat and extreme humidity of the site was gruelling at times. The only escape was the beach. Of course it is the perfect condition for biting insects and mosquitos. We suffered every night from bites and had to retreat inside our camper to escape them. The site team do spray to try and limit the effects of this but it’s an inevitable aspect of staying here.
Our pitch also had a large boggy area at the end of the pitch which was very off-putting.
The toilets/shower blocks were outdated and despite best efforts from cleaning staff quickly became grubby as they are not sufficient for the huge numbers of people there.
The supermarket is well stocked but very expensive compared with everywhere else we have travelled.
The close vicinity to the Venetian Lagoon meant that day trips to Venice and the Islands were very easy to organise with the help of the customer care team who were excellent and extremely helpful.
In summary it is probably a bit of a ‘marmite’ campsite. For those looking for peace and tranquility it’s definitely not for you. For fun and games for the family, close proximity to Venice and if you don’t mind the heat/high humidity and all that comes with it this will probably be a good option.
