Our campsite in the Drôme des collines is in the heart of the charming village
of Hauterives, in the park of the Castle, a stone's throw from the ideal Palace of the Factor Cheval.

You can go directly on foot to stroll through the flowery village,
enjoy its shops and its markets with regional products.

Rediscover the pleasures of hiking on marked routes on foot,
mountain biking, horse riding or buggy riding, our partners are nearby.

But also play golf in Albon, canoe down the Drôme river,
try the Vélorail in Ardèche, admire the mountains and caves of the Vercors, visit the museums...
Or simply relax by the swimming pool managed by the Community of Communes, open from the beginning of June to the end of August, and dip your feet in the river Galaure!

And don't forget to experience an Explor Game in the middle of nature with your family or friends...enter the game of the quest of the 3 giants and go in search of clues to save the Palace!

Le Château campsite is located in the center of a charming village of Hauterives in the Drôme, between Lyon and Valence. It is the ideal starting point to visit the incredible Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval. This human-sized campsite welcomes you in a friendly and family atmosphere. It has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a children's pool and a paddling pool for the little ones.

In order to make your stay more enjoyable, the campsite Le Château offers an entertainment program for all tastes and ages. Children can enjoy a mini-club, a playground and other fun and recreational activities. Many sports activities are reserved for adults. At the end of the day, the campsite hosts evening concerts and shows.

The campsite Le Château has planned everything to offer you a stay of optimal comfort. It offers a breakfast delivery service. In the restaurant you will find take-away meals and pizzas. Fresh drinks and coffee are available at the reception. Reading enthusiasts will enjoy the free library. All important shops are available not far from the campsite. A laundry room is also available.

Ideally located in the village of Hauterives. Everything is within walking distance: supermarket, restaurants, Facteur Cheval palace...

Very good welcome on arrival! The mobile home was top notch! I liked the fact that the campsite has a lot of trees.
Only downside: the swimming pool was closed even though it was only the beginning of September.
Also, having made my reservation via the internet, the campsite did not have my contact details, so it can be annoying if I need to contact the customer for any reason.

The welcome and the staff are top notch. Helpful, smiling, available and very pleasant.
On the other hand, the restaurant deserves to be improved. It was the beginning of the season but too many approximations. Very long service, delays in orders (each time 30 minutes waiting time despite the fact that they are take-away orders), non-conforming orders, cold dishes, etc...
