Whether you're looking to relax, swim, hike or discover the local area, you've come to the right place. And if you come back every year, it's certainly not by chance 😉

We look forward to welcoming you soon for a warm and invigorating stay in the Ardèche.

Valérie Arquilliere owner

Situated in the heart of theArdèche Verte, in Lamastre, the Retourtour campsite enjoys an exceptional natural setting on the banks of the river Le Doux. Lovers of swimming and relaxation will be delighted by the campsite's heated swimming pool (open from May to September) and by the immediate proximity of a supervised lake in high season. Ideally placed for explorers, the campsite is a stone's throw from the famous La Dolce Via footpath, perfect for walking or cycling. Just 2 km away, you can easily reach Lamastre town centre to enjoy its famous local market. There is no shortage of tourist attractions in the surrounding area, including the famous Le Mastrou steam train and the Vélorail des Gorges du Doux, or a visit to the medieval village of Désaignes, classified as a Village de Caractère.

As for leisure activities, the establishment offers a wide range of facilities for young and old, including a multi-sports pitch (football, basketball, volleyball), mini-golf, table tennis and an outdoor fitness area reserved for adults. Children can have fun in complete safety thanks to the large play areas and bouncy castle. During the summer months (July and August), the campsite comes alive with a children's club offering creative mornings and treasure hunts, complemented by gentle family entertainment in the evenings, such as concerts, foam parties and sports tournaments, all in a friendly atmosphere that respects the peace and quiet of the site after 11pm.

To guarantee a stress-free stay, the campsite offers quality services and modern facilities. You'll find a snack bar and ice-cream parlour with a covered, heated terrace, offering takeaway meals and a bread and pastries drop-off service every morning. A small convenience store and a tourist information desk are available at reception. In terms of comfort, the campsite has modern, heated sanitary facilities, full laundry facilities (washing machine and tumble dryer) and a Wi-Fi connection covering almost the entire site. Communal barbecues are also available for your outdoor get-togethers.

The staff are brilliant, but the swimming pool is a bit small given the size of the campsite, and there isn’t much space around it. For a 4-star campsite, quite a few things are missing:
Toilet paper, hairdryers and hand wash in the toilet blocks.
No evening entertainment.
Pitches are a bit on the small side for a motorhome.
The mini-market is rather poorly stocked.
You have to order everything the day before.
No bike hire, even though we’re quite a way from the village.
