The location was very good, the campsite as well, but the lodge tent presented at the time of the reservation did not correspond to the tent we finally occupied: less rooms, less beds, no kitchenette with a water point, too little storage space, old design tent with holes in the double roofs, mould stains in some places and difficult to ventilate. Luckily the reception was top notch and the person on site had really cleaned up the place. Next time I will go directly to the campsite to check this information before booking.

We stayed at this campsite for 11 nights, camping in our tent. Family of 4, 2 boys 9 & 11. The location is great for exploring the Dordogne. So many beautiful villages a short drive away, and a lovely walk in to the small village of Beynac itself and Chateau. Just a few little shops and restaurants...

Overall a pleasant campsite, it does depend on the chosen place, namely when you are close to the entrance of the campsite, there is noise pollution from the road that runs past the campsite, trucks that run their diesel engine when loading and unloading, and the general garbage cans, which are emptied...

Although we stayed only for a few hours, we were very impressed by the premises. The campsite is lovely, clean and the staff were really friendly. We would have loved to stay some more days if we had more holidays.

Absolutely stunning site with the beautiful Château de Beynac in the backdrop and hot air balloons fly over the site early in the morning. It is just a quick walk to the Dordogne and the Kayak trips there are brilliant. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly at reception and in the bar.
