The location was very good, the campsite as well, but the lodge tent presented at the time of the reservation did not correspond to the tent we finally occupied: less rooms, less beds, no kitchenette with a water point, too little storage space, old design tent with holes in the double roofs, mould stains in some places and difficult to ventilate. Luckily the reception was top notch and the person on site had really cleaned up the place. Next time I will go directly to the campsite to check this information before booking.

I would say this must be the best campsite we have ever stayed on. Stunning views of the castle from the swimming pool. What more can you ask for ?Nice shady pitches with plenty of room and good clean facilities at a reasonable price

We arrived to a very friendly welcome on our 2nd visit to this beautiful site. We booked through 'Caravan & Motorhome Club'. We were pitch 26 which was very large and so spacious. This is the second time we've stayed here. Really enjoyed it. Very clean, nice pool, good size pitches with very good shade. Good bar and a visiting food truck most nights with good food and very reasonable. Really nice bakery opposite and shop, butcher and grocer. Fabulous views of the castle. Fantastic...

Excellent site in a fantastic location right by the river with fabulous views of the castle. Facilities were great especially the pool and the shady bar area. We would definitely recommend and we will return!!
