The Orbitur Mira campsite enjoys an exceptional location, nestling between a tranquil lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, south of Aveiro. Facing the Lagoa de Mira, it offers privileged access to Mira beach (Praia de Mira), renowned for its fine sand dunes and traditional wooden fishermen's houses. The location is ideal for visiting the São Jacinto dunes nature reserve or the city of Aveiro, the 'Portuguese Venice'. For aquatic relaxation, thedirect access to the lagoon and its immediate proximity to the sea are a real natural advantage for swimming and water sports.
As for leisure activities, the campsite has a multi-sports ground, a tennis court and an outdoor play area for children. The lagoon opposite the campsite is a perfect spot for canoeing, windsurfing and fishing. During the high season (July and August), the campsite offers family entertainment and a children's club to keep the little ones entertained in a friendly atmosphere. The following are the opening hours of the campsite: - every day: from 8 am to 10 pm Guests are requested to inform the campsite of their expected arrival time. The normal arrival times are between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and the departure times are between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
