Camping Valado is located 2000m from Nazaré, in the upper part of this fishing village. At only 1800m from the beaches, enjoy beautiful shady areas thanks to its location in a pretty Valado pine forest. The campsite is famous for its large beaches but especially for its gigantic wave of more than 30 meters surfed by the world legend of surfing. On site, you will enjoy a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.

For your leisure, are at your disposal: a tennis court, table tennis tables, games room. The funicular ride is very popular and the beach is splendid.

On the service side, you will find a snack bar with take-away food and pizza or eat out on the terrace, as well as a grocery store.

We loved the warm welcome and availability of the staff. The location, which took us away from the heat of Lisbon and enabled us to discover beautiful villages such as San Pedro de Moel. One piece of advice: make it clear that the deposit of 100 euros can only be paid in cash. It wasn't a big deal though! Thank you to the staff for a very pleasant stay. Bonne continuation

A great location, set in woodland with plenty of shade.Lots of Spring flowers about as we visited early March. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Facilities are basic but clean. Hot water for washing up.A basic bar and shop with friendly bartender who spoke English.

Having just left an Orbitur site Caminha this was terrible and way off the standard of the previous. Trying to navigate onto the pitch between large pine trees is a joke and pitches definitely not up to size. Toilets have only one toilet roll dispenser outside the cubicles. Was quite shocked to see fires...

We arrived at the site with our Fifth Wheeler and was told we could easily park it anywhere on the site. So we paid for 3 nights even though the price was extort. We have been travelling around Portugal for 5 months and this was by far the most expensive.
The site is very big but not suitable at all...

Wonderfully cozy bungalows!

We rented a bungalow for the two of us and it was perfect! Easy to get to, convenient and close enough for sights to check out, plus we could enjoy picnics and also go into Nazare for dinners.

It was clean, cozy, and well appointed. Most everything we needed was right there. Could not ask for better...
