Disappointing, too small place for what I reserved. The capsule could not or did not want to charge this. Seriously outdated sanitary facilities. Poor English at reception.
Wifi was good, bread was good. Pool was well in the sun.

While parking the campercar in the space pointed out to us, we noticed that there where no other campers so I went back to ask for a spot in the sun so we could sit outside in the morningsun. It was not possible eventhough there were no other visitors. The man in the office told me that the spot was... booked… surprisingly no one came. The campingsite with pithes was deserted (25 mei 2023).
At arrival I asked to order bread for the next morning, but I was told to get it in the campingshop in the morning. This will open at 9.00. The next morning at 9.00 the shop was closed. After asking they told me he was on his way… we left at 10.15 and there was still no one, and we had no bread…
And what we read earlier, the booking did take a while…but you’re on vacation

We visited at the end of October so this review may not be indicative of what this site is like in the summer months.
Firstly, we booked this site via Pitch Up, choosing this particular one because, unlike the others in the area, it was advertising 20:00 check-in. At the point of booking we put down... 19:30 as our estimated time of arrival, and even wrote a request asking for confirmation that 20:00 was correct, but didn't hear anything back. So, roll on our arrival at 19:15 and the entire site was in darkness. Reception was locked. I tried ringing the bell but no answer. Thankfully there was a phone number on the sign outside and when I rang it a lady answered to tell me that it was closed (reception not the camp site). Luckily she appeared in reception from the house, and through broken English I eventually got checked in. I pointed to the 19:30 estimation on her Pitch Up print out so she couldn't really argue. She then informed me that the deposit for the barrier fob was either a passport or €50,despite the booking saying €20. I was then told I could choose any pitch I wanted, and as it was dark chose one near the toilet block.
The pitches were large and private with high hedgerows around. If using electricity, a European adaptor will be needed. When waking up and seeing the site in daylight, we realised that we were one of only a very small number of other pitches being used.
The toilets and showers were very basic. The toilets we individual blocks on the outside of the building, with open roof covered by a grill. Strange set up and very cold in the evening. No lights also meant going to the toilet whilst holding a torch. The showers themselves were fine, nice and warm, but the shower block was smelly, although by the second day the door had been propped open all night allowing some fresh air to come in. It looked as though some building work was being carried out to some of the showers.
Strengths:
Large pitches
Warm showers
Weaknesses:
Facilities basic
All in all, a satisfactory site that served a purpose as a base for exploring. I wouldn't have liked to have had to spend too much time there though.

We stayed for one night while travelling around Northern France, but it was amongst the worst of our experiences of a dozen or so campsites. We had booked ahead, phoning at breakfast time on the day we were staying. Later on, at the site, we noticed people who hadn't booked in advance being turned away.... (So the site is in something of a monopolistic position on a late July weeknight.) Whilst the site appears to have reasonable pitches in the centre, we and 6 or so other overnighters were given a row of very small pitches on a grassy verge next to a gravel road leading up to some of the very numerous static caravans/holiday huts. Just near us was a large pile of earth and some earth-moving machinery. Not very enticing or comfortable. The site advertises itself as 'only 3 - 4 km from the coast'. This may be so, but there is no way you could walk this, and I wouldn't be happy to cycle it either. (We had otherwise cycled to many places during our month in France). The site is immediately on a very busy and quite narrow road - albeit with the entrance set back a bit so that there isn't a problem with road noise. Apart from a couple of hundred metres either way outside the site's entrance there is no pavement. Even smaller and narrower, though still busy, roads lead off this main road towards the sea. The sanitation block, quite a walk from our pitch, seemed never to be cleaned and the floor was constantly swimming in muddy water. The wcs, in a row actually on the outside of the block, were basic and (as sometimes happens in France) without supplied paper, and with nowhere to put anything when one went in, except on the muddy floor. To access the block one had to negotiate a series of cracked and broken paving slabs - surely it's not much of a problem to replace these ? The advertised free wifi was welcome, but unreliable. Something to do with its IP address, according to my device. Again, after a month touring northern France, we were accustomed to prices and noticed that this poor site was amongst the most expensive we had stayed at, and even the pre-ordered morning baguette and croissants were 15% more expensive than everywhere else we'd stayed at (even in some rather chi-chi places). Nothing to make a serious hole in our finances, but nevertheless leaving a bad taste (excuse the pun).

We booked this campsite in advance, paid our deposit and even requested a quiet pitch for our tent.
On arrival we were shown to our pitch, which I have to say was a complete disappointment. It was next to a caravan which was run down and surrounded by lots of other caravans in close proximity.
we... said this was unsuitable, we were shown to another pitch which was right next to the main road and which was completely unkept, with high grasses. Even our 7 year old child could see this. It was not an flat pitch, very uneven. The owner quickly drove off in his buggy. We had to walk back to the site office to tell him that this was not acceptable either. After travelling for 12 hours, we were exhausted.
We were shown to another pitch which looked just ok, however, there were cigarette ends everywhere and lots of debris from what looked like wine bottles. We accepted this pitch as we had no other option and there was nothing else available. That was our first disappointment.
The second disappointment was the noise on the site. It was really noisy until around midnight with the music from the bar and people talking and laughing. Then there was the young kids and adults shouting and making lots of noise all through the night. Add to this the noise of people constantly jumping up and down on the large trampoline, then you can gather from all of this that our lives were a complete misery when we returned to the camp site after a long day out and about.
The noise on this site was continuous and went on all night long. We complained to the owners, but they did nothing. We wrote a letter to the owners, but they did nothing. They kept saying 'security' but there was no sign of security and there was no attempt by anyone to deal with the noise even after midnight, it was relentless.
The noise from the pool was also loud, might have been the pump, but you could hear this all night too.
The owners didn't care at all.
The shower block was just ok, not so much as a shower, but more of a jet of water to wash in. Also, it was constantly flooded.
It was in desperate need of refurbishment.
The toilets were awful with people seemingly missing the toilet altogether and doing their business all over the floor in the toilet. Also, there didn't seem to be much cleaning of the facilities and the toilets were dirty the whole time we were there.
The site was busy at all times.
The owners of the site or the people who run it (not sure) don't speak English, nor do the people in the bar. All the signage is in different languages except English, which was a bit difficult for us.
This whole experience was a complete disappointment and spoilt what should have good a good week away.
Stay somewhere else or book into a hotel. Location is good, close to Deauville, but nothing else is good about this site.
