Ideally located on the sea front of the Bessin cliffs, the Omaha Beach campsite offers direct, private access to the beach of the same name, famous for the history of the Second World War landings. Its unrivalled location and exceptional panorama make it a popular holiday destination for outdoor enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
From May to September, you can enjoy the campsite's indoor heated swimming pool and the beach, which is less than a minute's walk away and offers fishing, sea kayaking, longe-côte, stand-up paddle and even paragliding.

You'll always find an activity to suit your taste: table soccer, shuffleboard, inflatables (depending on the season), basketball hoop, ping-pong tables, games room, TV room, pétanque pitch, soccer pitch, beach volleyball. The children's club for 4-12 year-olds offers fun and recreational activities in July and August.

In terms of services, the Omaha Beach campsite has a restaurant with a terrace offering a panoramic view of the sea, where the whole family can enjoy a simple, convivial meal. Takeaway meals are also available in July and August. A bar and grocery store are open all day in high season. Wifi available throughout the campsite at an additional cost.

Strongly recommend, excellent location for a Normandy trip to dive into its history or even to relax and take in the views of the coast. Local shops seemed to be quite seasonal in oct when we visited however super markets are not too far to find. Easy clean and friendly campsite

Toilet and shower are clean but not typical European level. Toilet lid missing and shower need more hooks. Why the restaurant is close almost whole day? Electricity 16A places too because you need to use air conditions if you have dog with you.

We enjoyed our stay the site was clean and tidy, and well postioned for visiting the beach and war memorials. there are good food outlets as well and a shop, the showers and facilities where very clean and staff helpfull.

Generally the site was very good. We paid extra for a sea view and were lucky with pitch 393.

The EHU was on pitch. Despite each being marked with the pitch number some vans on the lower level had taken them rather than the ones reserved for them.

The bar/restaurant was only open from 6pm in September....
