Unfortunately the weather was bad, but the campsite is really nice, the staff are very pleasant and the owners are lovely. We'll definitely go back. The landscape is beautiful.

The campsite **** Le Gallo-Romain is located in the commune of Barbières, a small picturesque village in the Vercors-Drôme region at the foot of the Tourniol pass, the gateway to the magnificent Vercors natural park.
Le Gallo-Romain offers you, in a green setting with a magnificent view on the belvedere, mobile homes with a maximum of comfort and about sixty spacious pitches mostly shaded arranged on 4 flat levels bordered by the river. Come and discover these first foothills of the Vercors which invite visitors to sumptuous hikes, on foot or by mountain bike.
You can also visit Valence of course but also Romans, Montélimar, Crest, Die, La Chapelle-en-Vercors, Nyons and Dieulefit.
Perfectly integrated into the environment, Le Gallo-Romain is an ideal destination for nature lovers in search of relaxation.
Several infrastructures and activities are already present: playground, table soccer, library, billiards, etc. Children's games and animated evenings are also on the program in high season to entertain young and old in search of activities. I liked it:
We liked the location of the campsite, its large swimming pool, the cleanliness of the place, the very friendly owner and the young hostess who managed with the means at hand.

I did not like it:
The almost non-existent reception, the very moody owner, the restaurant where we tried but failed to get pizzas, the lack of a camping spirit, no possibility of having a drink in the evening as the owner decreed the bar closed and the mobile home very tight for 6 beds.
