Not a 5 star

My family and I stayed here in June 2025 for our first holiday to a Euro Camp so we didn’t know what to expect. When we arrived at reception we were behind a man who was complaining that his accommodation was full of spiders and was dirty and we thought OMG what have we booked here? and then we got... to our accommodation.
Accommodation (Plot 29)
Spotlessly clean on arrival with all the utensils and equipment you would expect, ours didn’t have a cooker so I would suggest taking an air fryer.
Creepy crawlers
It is in the countryside so if you have your door open all the time you will get bugs and insects crawling inside, as we had air con we decided to have the door and windows closed at all times and my wife found 1 spider in the toilet all week so you can limit this by keeping everything closed.
Pools and slides
I found the pools quite dated and old but my children 7 and 9 enjoyed them so I can’t complain.
Location
We visited Disneyland which was 1 hour and 15 minutes drive so it is ideal if you had planned to visit there.
Local town
The local town is 5 minutes walk away and has shops, bakery, bars etc.
Onsite bakery
The onsite bakery is amazing, you will be there every morning to pick up your daily baguette and croissants.
Facilities.
The facilities are great, my children took advantage of the indoor and outdoor football pitch everyday and my wife and I both enjoyed a morning run around the park and lake, just beautiful.
Pool Queue
I have never seen this before on holiday but the pools were locked until 10:30am so there was no getting up to throw a towel on a lounger at 6am and then going back to bed. If you want a lounger you have to get up and stand in a queue with everyone else which I thought was great and really fair.
Negatives
Pool Queue
Where I have just praised the pool queue I found queueing for the pool the most stressful time of the day. I got in the queue most days at 09:30am (1 hour before opening) and before long the queue was huge, at the front of the queue there was a side path connecting to the queue line which saw people turning up 10 minutes before opening and standing there, feigning ignorance, waiting to jump the queue.
These people were informed by many people standing in the correct queue that they needed to go to the back of the queue and they ignored the request or claimed they couldn’t speak English, it then got heated, as you would expect from being in a queue for an hour then you see some lazy, arrogant t**t pushing in.
As well as this the pool bar was open where you were able to walk through the queue, upstairs to the terrace and then walk down to the pool, this was not monitored or cordoned off so a lot of parents were giving the children their towels and getting them to go into the bar to get up to the terrace. I witnessed several children stood by the poolside unsupervised holding towels before any lifeguards were on duty. A CLEAR BREACH OF HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS.
Many people complained at reception and to be fair to the staff they listened and the next day there was a security guard posted at the front checking bands. Unfortunately this lasted for 1 day before it was back to normal.
Staff need to address this by either having a member of staff positioned at the gate between 10:15-10:30am, the side path leading to the main queue needs a gate to stop queue jumpers and the terrace at the pool bar needs closing until 10:30am inline with the pool opening to prevent children accessing the pool before opening.
Staff need at act on this ASAP as it’s only a matter of time before people start fighting over this and someone gets assaulted.
The lagoon
Advertised on the website as one of the main attractions of the park however on arrival it was closed for the week with no explanation at check in, no apology or even a refund given. This had a knock on effect and made the pool areas overly busy.
The Lagoon bar.
I have never waited as long for food, the bar wasn’t even half full and I was made to wait 2.5 hours for a pizza. The bar service is slow, with just 2 staff serving and with people ordering food I found myself queuing 30 minutes for a drink, it would make more sense to have a place to order food at the bar and a place to order drinks.
The lagoon bar advertise a large beer €7, please be aware that the glass that it comes in is not a large glass, more like a big half glass but they see fit to make customers pay €7 for the privilege. However if you go to the lake cafe you can get a pint (large) of beer in a pint glass for €7.
Shower (Pitch 29)
The shower in my accommodation was poor, we had to get the kids in first because if we didn’t then the hot water run out, my wife and I often had to take cold showers.
Bike hire
We thought it be a good idea to hire a bike however on a Saturday the bike hire shop was closed, for a holiday place where guests are arriving every day you would expect everything to be open.
Pool
The pools are really dated, with lots of little pot holes where the stones have been removed, during our stay a gentleman tripped up and cut his leg really badly, blood was pumping out of his leg, the lifeguard came over and shrugged his shoulders as if to say what do you want we to do about it.
Summary.
We had a really good family holiday, would we return? Absolutely NOT for the reasons I have just mentioned, Marvilla Parks you really need to take note to these bad reviews as your site has never been 5* accommodation. Do better
