Camping des Deux Séquoias is a haven of peace nestling in the heart of the magnificent Larzac plateau in southern Aveyron. Ideally situated, it's just a 5-10 minute walk from the charming medieval village... of Nant, nicknamed the "Garden of the Aveyron" thanks to its ingenious network of canals. The privileged location on the banks of the Dourbie offers a natural swim in the clear waters of the river. This exceptional setting is the ideal base for exploring the region's major sites, including the impressive Gorges de la Dourbie, the Templar and hospitable town of La Couvertoirade (around 12 km away), and the famous Millau Viaduct (around 20-25 km).
For sport and leisure, the campsite has volleyball and petanque courts, as well as board games. A detailed programme of local festivities and suggestions for personalised tours are available to guide you in your discoveries. What's more, many exciting activities are available nearby, in the heart of the village of Nant or in the surrounding valleys: you'll find an open-air swimming pool in the village, tennis courts, a stud farm offering horse-riding courses, hiking (GR and PR starting from the campsite), yoga or Qi Gong classes, fishing, mountain biking, and even thrill sports such as canyoning, paragliding or bungee jumping within a 25 km radius. The campsite is a real invitation to tranquillity and discovery in the heart of nature.
In terms of services, Camping des Deux Séquoias is committed to your comfort. It offers spacious, shaded pitches, as well as a mobile home for hire. Facilities include a new sanitary block with hot showers, toilets and an area accessible to People with Reduced Mobility (PRM). For a practical stay, there's a washing machine and freezer available, as well as an iron and hairdryer at reception. Guests will also appreciate the possibility of connecting via free Wi-Fi (check on site for exact coverage), the motorhome service area and the acceptance of pets. Last but not least, the village of Nant is just a few minutes' walk from all the local shops (bakery, mini-market, restaurants, etc.) to simplify your daily life. Read more
