We liked the trees and, consequently, the shade. We found the pitches too small. A lot of the facilities in the toilet blocks were out of order or blocked and therefore unusable.

Three ladies’ toilets were closed. That left just one ladies’ toilet and one children’s toilet, and sometimes even those were out of toilet paper. There were no bins in the various areas. The cleaning times in the morning were poorly chosen. I’ve been coming here for years, but things haven’t improved under the new owner.

One thing that could be improved is that the entrance to the campsite is on a hill; a caravan stops right in front of the barrier to trigger the sensor, then sets off again on the hill – it’s not ideal.
