The VVF Camping de Pontivy enjoys a privileged location on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal, just a few minutes from the historic centre of Pontivy. This location allows holidaymakers to discover the rich local heritage, such as the Château des Rohan, the town's medieval streets and the towpaths for walking and cycling. The campsite does not have a swimming pool, but its proximity to the River Blavet means you can enjoy water sports activities in the heart of nature.
On site, holidaymakers will find a number of facilities to keep them entertained: children's play area, table tennis, table football, petanque pitch and multi-purpose room with board games. During the school holidays, family entertainment is available in the evenings, including tournaments and fun workshops. Although there are no structured children's or teenagers' clubs, the atmosphere remains friendly and family-friendly. Nearby, the Blavet leisure centre offers canoeing, paddling and sailing.
In terms of services, the campsite has a convenience store, a bread and pastries shop in high season, a launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a bar/snack bar open during the holidays. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the site. The campsite also has bike storage and a charging point for electric vehicles. Everything you need for a practical, enjoyable stay in the heart of inland Brittany.
The campsite is located rue Edith Piaf, in the Kerostin district, to the north of the historic centre of Pontivy, just past the Ponteau lock on the Nantes-Brest canal.
By car: from the RN24, take the Pontivy exit, then follow the signs for "Kerostin / camping".
By train: get off at Pontivy station, then take a taxi or local bus for the remaining 2... km.
By plane: land at Nantes, then hire car, train or shuttle to Pontivy, and transfer to the campsite.
