Welcome to Normandy, in the Calvados region, at Le Picard campsite, run as a couple by Delphine and Laurent. Here, you're just 20 km from the legendary Normandy landing beaches and the towns of Bayeux (famous for its Tapestry and cathedral) and Saint-Lô. Enjoy the pleasures of the Normandy coast and its lively summer (night markets, celebrations, water sports on the beach...) but above all the peace, tranquillity and green setting of this small, charming campsite right in the heart of the Normandy countryside.

And for a bite to eat? Delphine and Laurent welcome you every evening in July and August in their snack bar, and by reservation in low season. A warm and friendly atmosphere guaranteed! Dishes to eat in or take away are on offer, as well as cold drinks and ice creams, not forgetting the local produce (cider, Caramels d'Isigny, Pommeau, etc.) which you can also find in the corner shop. You'll be given all the practical and tourist information you need on arrival, as well as the best places to visit. You can also reserve your own bread and pastries. Pets are not allowed.

We liked the fact that it's a small campsite on a human scale, with lots of pitches and few rentals. The toilets and communal areas were clean. Nothing to complain about, we'll be back.
