Camping Le Fou du Roi has a large outdoor swimming pool, naturally heated by the sun, measuring 12m x 6m. For the enjoyment of the little ones, the pool includes a paddling pool, but beware! Swimming is not supervised. The campsite also has a night swimming pool which is open every Thursday until 10pm. Please note that swimwear or boxer shorts must be worn and that Bermuda shorts, shorts, t-shirts, overalls or any other clothing are not permitted. Wearing a wristband is also compulsory during the season for access to the pool.

In addition to the various activities on the campsite or in the surrounding area, the teams at Le Fou du Roi have put together a varied programme of activities for the whole family.

- On the sports side, ping-pong and table football tournaments and petanque competitions are regularly organised.

- For more fun, the campsite's night swimming pool is open every Thursday until 10pm.

- Themed meals (depending on conditions), dance evenings, quizzes, karaoke or lotto games are also on the programme every Thursday to maximise the friendly atmosphere between campers.

- Themed evenings are also organised in the campsite snack bar every Thursday. Guests must reserve their places in advance.

Children's entertainment at the campsite takes place once or twice a week and depends on the number of participants.

Le Fou du Roi campsite has a snack bar open in high season from 4pm to 11pm. In the dining room or on the terrace, customers can enjoy rib steaks with chips, salads, burgers, ice creams and drinks. If customers fancy eating elsewhere, the snack/bar also has a takeaway service.

For the bread deposit service, which is available in July and August, customers must place their order at reception or at the snack bar before 6 p.m. and can collect their fresh bread and pastries from the snack bar at 8.30 a.m. the next day.

For everyday needs, customers can make their purchases at the campsite's grocery corner. Open every day from 8.30am to 12pm and from 4pm to 11pm.

Very pleasant, quiet little campsite with all amenities. A very warm welcome from the campsite team, who do everything they can to make our guests feel at home. A big thank you to them for their commitment and for doing their job to the best of their ability. If we ever come back to the region, we'll definitely come back to Le Fou du Roi. Very pleasant, quiet little campsite with all amenities. A very�s warm welcome from the campsite �quipe who do everything to make holidaymakers feel good. A big thank you � them for their investment and for doing their m�tier with their c�ur. If we come back to the region it is without any h�sitation that we will return to Le Fou du roi. Stayed here for a few days. Charming owners and good clean pitches, many of them well shaded. Conveniently sited for a short stay or stopover, although the approach roads to it could be a bit wider (but maybe that was my ancient satnav giving us grief!). Nothing to dislike frankly; been to a lot worse...

This site is slightly off the beaten track with lots of holiday chalets. Touring sites are between the chalets and small by french standards. Sites could be quite muddy after rain. The swimming pool was closed but looked very nice. There is a quaint village very close to the site with a couple of shops...

We did plan to stop here for a week, but left after two nights, just so we could visit Aigues Mortes. The manager/owner was extremely helpful and considerate, clearing low branches for us so we could site our caravan at the back of the pitch, but even so the pitch was far too small, we couldn't put up...
