No holiday !!! This campsite ruined the last week of our family holiday.

I have waited for a few days to calm down, before writing this.
We booked a pitch in February this year, for 1 week, starting on the Saturday 6th August, for our motorhome, 2 adults and 3 children.
After a 7 hour drive we arrived at 17.15, the reception was very busy, so we waited for 15 minutes, then... we were given a site map, with 3 pitches to choose from, the site was full. Now it starts to sound like Goldilocks and the three bears!!! The first pitch was next to the entrance barrier, and had a large drop on one side, the motorhome could not fit, the second pitch was too narrow, and the motorhome couldn't pass the through the gap, the third pitch had a tree in the place where the motorhome needed to be!!!
So off we want back to reception, and stood inline for another 10 minutes, we explained that the pitches where too small for our motorhome, the reception lady said that it was all that was left, and that they don't locate pitches prior to your arrival, therefor if you arrive just before we did, and hadn't booked we would have more to choose from. We explained that its not our fault. that they are offering pitches that are not suitable for a caravan or motorhome, after getting rather annoyed with "shoulder shrugging" staff we asked to see the manager (this was Saturday afternoon, the busiest time!) we were told he wasn't on site!
They then offered us 2 other pitches, we asked if they were big enough, they said yes, great we thought, then they gave us the map and a member of staff as a guide, they pitches weren't numbered or marked on the map, then we realised why... the first was a space on the side of the road, next to the hand railing by the toilet block, we explained to the guide (who smelt like he had drank a fair bit of beer for lunch!!) that if we packed there and put the awning up, the road would be closed, he shock his head and gestured that we couldn't. Then he showed us the second pitch, which turned out to be on the other side of the same toilet block, and currently had two maintenance vehicles park there, again, utter rubbish.
We went back to reception, this time decided not to wait, and spook to the same reception lady, we explain our disgust in the service and demanded to speak to the manager, so the lady phoned the manager and all he or she offered was a refund of our 100 euro deposit, the lady behind the reception offered the deposit back like we should be happy!!!!
Over the past three weeks, we stayed at 4 other campsites, varying from 3 to 5 star, everyone was exactly how we hope and expected it would be.
This campsite was the worst that I have ever stayed on, unprofessional, unhelpful and rude.
