Situated on the banks of the Cher river, it's close to some of the finest châteaux in the Loire Valley, including Château Royal d'Amboise (25 km), Château de Chenonceau (28 km), Château de Chambord (80 km) and Jardins de Villandry (18 km).
In high season, bikes can be hired directly from the campsite. A children's playground and petanque area are available all year round. Just a stone's throw from the campsite, the St Avertin municipal swimming pool is open all year round (info, prices and opening hours on the pool's website).
A small grocery store sells ice cream, cold drinks, hot drinks and local produce. From April to October, the campsite offers a fresh bread delivery service every morning (to order).
