The Camping Village Roma Capitol is a holiday centre built on the protected "Pineta di Castel Fusano" Reserve in Ostia Antica. Its strategic position less than an hour from the city of Rome and from Rome Fiumicino Airport makes it a perfect location both for cultural and religious trips in Rome and for a relaxing sea holiday on the beach of "Lido di Ostia".

With an ideal geographical location due to its proximity to the city of Rome and the coast, the Roma Capitol campsite welcomes you for a total Italian immersion. You can enjoy 3 swimming pools, including a semi-Olympic pool for the more sporty, a paddling pool for the youngest and a relaxation area with spa.

In order to satisfy young and old, several activities are available within the campsite: Minigolf, multisport ground, tennis, volleyball ... family entertainment is also organized twice a week from June to September.

I liked the swimming pools and the scheduled entertainment.
Paving stones in the traffic areas, the eco-friendly campsite (selective sorting...), the restaurant where you can eat very well and the pizzas are excellent.

Very good location, close to the beach and the metro to Rome. Great welcome. Restaurant and grocery shop very convenient. Very good quality water park, pools and children's games. Highly recommended!

Magnificent campsite, conveniently located 30 minutes' walk from the metro station to Rome. Beautiful pine forest and peaceful setting. Plenty of space. Pools not open at the start of the season, which is a shame...

Well situated campsite, close to the beach, shops, leisure activities (horse riding, cycling, educational farm) and 20 minutes from the centre of Rome (by car, or 1 hour by train from the nearby station).
Helpful and discreet staff, high standard clientele, quality services (swimming pool, activities, sanitary facilities, laundry, ball games, children's games...), in an idyllic setting: in the middle of a vast park of pine trees.

Very good welcome from staff on reception, site incredibly large, good clean facilities. Pitches are not well defined but on the plus side they are spacious. As site was coming towards the end of season (we arrived end of September) not all areas were open, and we had quite a long walk to the sanitary...

Sun beds €5 each also umbrella. Rude waitress serving drinks (black shaved hair). Doesn’t even put them near you at the bar and you have to walk to get them. Fresh food in the shop looked like it was ready for the bin. Won’t be back or recommend!!

The camping is great allthough no mobile coverage. And no free wifi.
The restaurant has low standards and especially the manager is exstremly arrogant.
I recogment you eat out or cook your self.

We rent a caravan Baia elite with 4 children. The caravan was situated in a quite street and not far from the swimming pool. Different pools for babies, little childrens and swimmers. Sunbeds have to he paid for 5€/day. Why not for free?
Bar next to the pool is clean and friendly. Ice cream was too...
