In the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales, in Prades, Les Portes du Canigou campsite is ideally situated. Everything is waiting for you here! The mountains, the Mediterranean Sea, hiking, the famous Yellow Train, natural swimming and charming little Catalan villages.

Taken over in 2020 by young, dynamic owners, the campsite now offers quality rental accommodation, a small restaurant area and children's play equipment, all of which were previously lacking on this pretty little family campsite.

At the height of summer, many markets and events await you in this beautiful town in the hinterland of Catalonia.

Only 5 minutes walk from the campsite, a large swimming pool awaits you. - Adult, child or teenager, you will benefit from your swimming pool ticket. - Throughout the summer, in July and August, the campsite organises musical evenings for the campers. One evening, it happened on the restaurant terrace. The styles on offer are varied, from upbeat karaoke to jazz evenings and blues or rock rhythms. Everyone can quickly find something to their liking.

- A small library corner has been set up so that young and old can read together.

- The campsite knows that the setting, the beauty of the landscape and the quality of the accommodation are not everything. Hospitality, warmth and friendliness are always essential for a successful holiday.

- Start with APERO DES REGIONS. In July and August, it will take place every Sunday evening. In the off-season, the campsite has decided to keep this moment of sharing, but in a more timeless way. The principle is simple, the whole campsite team invites you to come and share an aperitif with them. The campsite offers homemade sangria for all holidaymakers, and everyone brings a speciality from their region to show their neighbours.

- Bread and pastries are delivered to the campsite reception every morning. Orders must be placed before 7pm the day before. Bread is delivered to the campsite in low season or collected from the reception in high season (July-August).

- There is a small grocery shop at the reception. Open every day from 8.30am to 12pm and from 3pm to 7pm, you will find all the basic necessities as well as fresh products and ice cream. There is also an area dedicated to the sale of local products and wines.

- At Les Portes du Canigou (66) in Prades, there are several markets to spend your weeks. Just a few steps from the campsite, you can enjoy the twice-weekly market.
You can walk there directly from the campsite:
- Grand Marché de Prades: Every Tuesday from 8am to 1pm.
- Prades Producers' Market: every Saturday from 7am to 1pm (Organic market)
- Vinça Market : Every Thursday from 8am to 1pm
