Recommend! We stayed in a lodge which is basically a static caravan. Had air conditioning, shower, and lovely decking that we spend most of our time on. Gas bbq included and has tools and we had a grill scrubber which made cleaning really easy. You have to clean before you leave. Easy to take the fat... catching plate out the bottom so was just like cleaning one at home.
If you can deal with accommodation being a little cramped (small/tight bedrooms and one living space as sofa, table, kitchen then you’ll have a great time because the rest of the resort is brilliant.
Multiple pool, main one has toddler zone separated from main pool by posts so you can be in the main pool whilst watching toddler play in the toddler pool. Toddler pool has a slide was ours loved, all very safe. The big kids played in the main pool which was great because we were in the same pool and could keep an eye on all of them. Main pool has a top level that has a wide slide going down to the main pool with a shallower landing zone so all safe. Also main pool has a swim up bar so can get yourself a sangria with the kids still close. Perfect!
There’s a splash pool which is fun, and another pool with three slides for big kids. Cafe by the pool serves good lunch and loads of options for kids if needed.
There is a great park with a zip line, 4G football pitch with goals in good condition, and a crazy golf.
The beach is probably max 10 min walk but all pedestrian and safe, we went there most mornings and a lovely cafe right on the beaches for coffee and pastries.
Beach is lovely, gentle waves and sand. Sea was warm.
The shop is great! I went there thinking we’d need to get a taxi to the local Lidl but no need. Had everything you could need, even an in house butcher and bakery, which we used most days, the meat was outstanding and cheap!! They were very accommodating to help get what we wanted, had to use Google translate a couple of times.
There’s a nice restaurant that again, cheap! Food was great, although I’ve had better paellas but everything else was great. There is a small play park up some steps in the restaurants which kept the kids entertained when they got restless.
Booking and check was easy and as expected. We flew from London to Barcelona so had no car (used Sun Transfers which I’d hugely recommend, I’ve done another review for them), but the staff used the golf buggy to help us with our luggage to the lodge. One tip, if you need help on check out ask the Eurocamp desk beforehand, they get very busy on checkout days and we didn’t ask beforehand. They helped but obviously took a little longer.
Checkout was easy, just took the bedding off and wrapped up, cleaned bbq, washed up and have the place a once over/wipe. They were happy with that so don’t expect a deep clean!!
Only issue we had was the gas bottle ran out and they didn’t switch it over which affected the hot water. When we called the team out it took them 3 times to figure out (which I eventually did for them). Other than that holiday was great and very easy.
Loads of power sockets, WiFi was available and fine, a bit patchy but generally fine. 4G/5G signal was good on the park.
The toilet blocks were amazing. We only used them occasionally and on check out day as we had to be out by 10 and flight wasn’t until 7pm but they were clean and lovely! Tiled, brick, open, floral, dedicated basins for young kids, locked spacey showers for adults and dedicated sinks with doors for adults. Used to camp a lot when younger and Tyne toilet blocks I remember were nothing like these!
If you want to make life easier/cheaper would recommend taking home comforts/tool like washing up liquid, sponge, dishcloth, tea towel but you don’t need to and shop onsite has it all.
Sheets provided were clean and comfortable. We took kids bedding because they wanted it and was a home comfort which was nice for them.
For a cheaper holiday with large family that’s really easy and fun would highly recommend. If you can get past the lodge/caravan style accommodation (still had loads of power, a/c and shower with hot water) it’s basically a 3* self catering resort with everything you need and all walkable. Although we did take the kids scooters which they loved.
