That “resort feeling” with more freedom and great value

We loved this place. Had the feeling of staying in a resort with the pools, beach, activities and entertainment all on your doorstep. However, much better value than if you booked a typical hotel holiday.
We stayed with Lifestyle (previously Siesta) and only have good things to say about them. They... have about 19 lodges in zone Z, all of which have a big wooden terrace and gas BBQ. There’s also a toaster and filter coffee machine. We stayed in the Emerald lodge in slot 22/6, which faced onto the road with a bit more space than others. Some of the others look a little bit more squashed together. We felt we had a good amount of space for 3 adults and 2 kids and we used the bbq almost every night. The main park reception were always helpful too. We had a couple of stormy evenings after the show and the park had team members in golf carts picking up families and driving them to escape the heavy downpours (which didn’t last long).
The site supermarket is really good. We hired a car because we thought we’d need to make some trips to Aldi but it turned out we were more than satisfied with the shop onsite. It has everything you need including fresh fruit and a butchers and bakery. The pre-marinated butcher meat is awesome. We picked up marinated steaks and chicken on skewers as well as chicken fajitas and all were delicious.
The pool was fun and kept us busy for a couple of hours each day. The beach is just a short walk away too. We hired bikes for the week with baskets and a toddler seat for the wee one, and these were great for getting down to the beach and carrying all our beach gear. The beach is beautiful too. There’s a few restaurants and bars to choose from along the beach. At night there’s trampolines and about 7/8 market stalls with all the usual toys, gifts, and fake trainers, football strips, handbags, etc.
The entertainment is first class. We were really impressed with the animation team and the amphitheater is awesome and buzzing every night. Much better than what we’ve experienced at all-inclusive hotels in Tenerife, etc. We saw Beauty & the Beast, Allison, Gladiator and more. There’s also a mini disco at 8pm each night.
We ate once in the restaurant and it was good enough for us. We ate a few times in the tapas restaurant down by the beach, just because it was convenient but it was a good option.
This was our first time doing a Europark style holiday and we absolutely loved it. I was a little worried about the accommodation due to a lack of specific information about the lodges on the Lifestyle website but we landed lucky so I’ve shared some photos to hopefully help people know what to expect.
We’ll definitely be back! If you’re thinking of going, do it.
