Fabulous campsite . friendly staff who do everything they can to make your holiday the best

We arrived a day late for our booking on a Sunday and the reception was closed. So it was our fault for the miscommunication. Some holidaymaker children came over to help us and rang the manager . IIf it wasn’t for those wonderful children helping us I don’t know what we would have done.
The manager... came back on her day off to book us in, how brilliant is that. Excellent customer service.
The staff in the dining room make sure you have a table , and make every effort to speak English as our French language is limited
The entertainment is going on all day and the reps come over to include you in the events and make every effort to chat to you. Bouncy castle, volleyball, table tennis, of course boules, darts, bingo/Loto.
The snack food is delicious . I could see the chef preparing the food and he really cared about the meals he served up.I had cesar salad and my husband had a chicken fillet burger and the chips were proper homemade , my favourite. Pizzas also looked fabulous.
There is a new pool and it is ideal, loved it. There is a water park along the road, but we didn’t go there as we were happy to sit by the campsite pool.
Behind the campsite there is a flowing river,lake which is enjoyable for a!cool evening circular walk. Saw an otter, Ducks ,heron and local people fishing. Along the park are different wooden fitness activities to use and you see the local people using them and running there. It also looks like there is some sort of canoe course set up in the running river that runs along the campsite.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom immaculate mobile home. In France , before you leave you are expected to clean it so that it is ready for the next person. Excellent idea.
Just be aware the campsite is next To water/ river/ stream.
This is a really friendly family campsite that I would definitely recommend. Before we arrived we stayed at a well known contender campsite in Biarritz and it doesn’t compare.
