I’ll start by asking the receptionist to be more responsible when guests arrive.We’d been told on the phone that we could hire towels on arrival, but apparently they’d run out – the receptionist just sent us to Intermarché!!!! What a lack of respect!!! In the mobile homes, please bear in mind people who are short. It’s not easy to reach the crockery. These are small things, but they matter in life. Thank you

As for the mobile home, I like how clean and comfortable it is; it’s not very busy and it’s quiet, although you can hear the noise of lorries and cars as we’re right next to the road leading to Le Salin. You need a car to do the shopping and go to the bakery. There’s no shop or bread available at the campsite. Above all, the closing times really bother us: 10 pm to 7 am. We can’t come back late as we have to park outside the campsite. They should install a barrier with a code, like all the other campsites.

The campsite is in a good location. Close to local shops, the market and walking trails. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The mobile home was very comfortable – especially the bedding – and well-equipped. One minor drawback during our September stay was that our accommodation was on the edge of the campsite, on the roadside, and from 5.00 am there was traffic from lorries and tractors (grape harvest), so we were woken up early as we were sleeping with the windows open. As for the crockery, there’s no larger saucepan or small stockpot – as there were four of us, I wanted to cook some mussels but there weren’t any pots big enough. The snack bar could do with some improvement (perhaps opening in the morning to stock bread and pastries); the person running it is the only one at the campsite who isn’t very welcoming. For our next holiday in Gruissan, we’ll definitely be returning to this campsite.

The mobile home is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning is very welcome during the hot summer months. There is a market on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings, about a 10- to 15-minute walk from the campsite. However, to get to the beach (Plage des Chalets) or the supermarket (which offers a wider choice), a car is needed. The campsite did not have a restaurant, water park or grocery shop at the time we rented the mobile home at the SEASONOVA Barberousse campsite (July 2026). That said, the reception staff and campsite staff are friendly.
