Welcome to Camping l'Escapade, a little corner of natural paradise where every breath of fresh air is an invitation to relax and escape.

This year, visit Camping L'Escapade, based in Cahagnolles in the Calvados region. You won't be disappointed by this campsite, where you can spend unforgettable holidays with family and friends alike. Located in the heart of Basse-Normandie, at a reasonable distance from the beach (40 km), this campsite will open the doors of this region to you. To make the most of relaxing moments in the company of your loved ones, you'll be free to take a dip in the heated indoor swimming pool, which is open to holidaymakers during the summer only, without even having to leave the campsite. Throughout your stay, you'll have access to all the services and facilities the campsite has to offer. These include a launderette and Wi-Fi access. There is also a bread delivery service. The campsite also has a grocery/snack shop and restaurant services (a bar and snack bar).
During the day or in the evening, Camping L'Escapade at Cahagnolles offers a wide range of activities. There's no reason to get bored at this campsite! I liked the professional and friendly welcome, the cleanliness of the campsite and the number of visitors. Unfortunately there is little entertainment at weekends, but that's understandable given the Saturday arrivals/departures.
The camping.com website gives some incorrect information, such as the price per animal/day (1€), whereas it is 5€/day. The owner, whom I would like to thank very much, didn't charge me in the end as it was a misunderstanding. The stated arrival time is 6pm maximum, after which you had to let the campsite reception know (info on the campsite.com website), but the reception closes at 7pm so it's possible to arrive at 7pm without warning. All the same, it was a great experience.

Well situated but lacking facilities.
Camping pitches have insufficient water supply. Fences at rear of pitches damaged and unsafe. No hand washing facilities near toilets. Access road up from reception area very rough and potholed. WiFi is pay on demand but the system would not let us buy access.

Beautiful, small campsite in rural surroundings. Great and simpel kids facilities. Very clean bathrooms. Nice food at reasonable prices. But far from sites because of small roads before you reach a high way.
