The campsite is very good – clean, with plenty to do, and a fantastic water park. The only thing I’d criticise is that there are surf clubs on the campsite itself, which make a lot of noise; so if you’re looking for peace and quiet, forget it. I don’t know if I would have chosen

This year, book a stay at the 4* Camping Club Les Tourterelles – MS Vacances – and fall in love with the town of Vielle-Saint-Girons in the Landes region, where the campsite is situated: it’s a truly beautiful spot that you’re sure to love. Your holiday will be in Aquitaine, with direct access to the beach (200 m). Let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of this unique spot! Holidaymakers will also appreciate the campsite’s water park, which is open and heated throughout the season, featuring two outdoor pools, five slides standing 9 metres high, a water garden and a paddling pool with games for children.

Everything has been arranged at this campsite to make your life easier: an MS shop, barbecue hire, a launderette (at an extra charge), Wi-Fi access, a hire and loan service (subject to availability) including baby equipment (baby kit, cot, high chair, bath), bike hire (mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, fatbikes), a safe, hire/loaning of sports equipment (table tennis bats, balls, pétanque boules), and iron hire are all available to guests, for example. New for 2026: a snack bar, a dessert shop, a bar and a grocery shop & hot food outlet will be open throughout the season. A brand-new wellness area featuring a hairdressing salon, massage and beauty treatments (at extra cost) will also be available throughout the season.

You’ll always find an activity to suit you at the 4* Camping Club Les Tourterelles: a fitness centre and street workout area (for ages 16 and over), a multi-sports pitch, basketball, handball, pétanque, mini-golf, beach volleyball, archery and yoga classes… All year round, table tennis tables are available to holidaymakers for moments of relaxation and socialising.

Everything has been designed to pamper children and teenagers, as a range of activities is available to them at the 4* Camping Club Les Tourterelles. Children’s clubs (ages 4–6, 7–10 and 11–13) and a teens’ club (ages 14–17) will offer age-appropriate activities during the summer holidays. To let off steam and make new friends, they are free to visit a playground open throughout the season.

Come and enjoy the heated swimming pool*, the paddling pool for little ones and the water play area throughout the season. Wearing swimming shorts, swimsuits or similar clothing is strictly prohibited whilst swimming. Swimming shorts are permitted on the beaches (outside the water). UV-protective Lycra swim T-shirts are permitted for children up to and including 6 years of age. Some slides are off-limits to children under 1m20 The water in our pools is heated using heat pumps, an environmentally friendly system. In the event of cool outside temperatures, the system may struggle to maintain the water at a high temperature.

The campsite is very good – clean, with plenty to do, and a fantastic water park. I have been coming to Saint-Girons-Plage and Camping Les Tourterelles since 2005. I first discovered this wonderful place as a surf student with Wellenreiter and returned every summer to enjoy the Atlantic Ocean and the unique atmosphere of the area.

Not suitable for families with small children

Nice location but very loud entertainment until midnight.
Site Manager was not very friendly or helpful when we had a problem with our house.
This site is more like mass tourism then camping.

A good, safe, clean and comfortable place to spend the summer vacation with kids. We will be back for sure, It is pretty expensive, but to be fair the infrastructure needs to be maintained and there is a hell lot of nice people who create a wonderful atmosphere.

Les Tourterelles is the most magnificent campsite. We always rent a Lodge Fidji Espace, it is marvelous. Situated in the pine woods with direct access to the beach, it is just fantastic. Bar sometimes understaffed. If there is only 1 staff member and lot off cocktail orders, it takes a long time. During summer miminum of 2 bartenders is a must at all hours.... But always friendly and good quality!!
Very usefull and simple to use app. Bracelet to enter stay and cashless pay is a plus....
