One (No. 57) of the four mobile homes we’d booked was in a very poor state: torn curtains, damaged flooring, and a small fridge for six people. The other three were fine. This mobile home needs refurbishing as it brings down the overall comfort rating.

The campsite is very pleasant, especially at the end of the season when it was very quiet. I particularly appreciated being able to stay with my puppy. On the other hand, the ‘eco’ mobile homes offer rather basic comfort; they get very hot in summer, particularly the one I was staying in, which was in full sun all day.

A nice campsite, but the bungalows are too close together – there isn’t enough privacy.

The campsite’s location is really great – you can do everything on foot. The swimming pool is a bit of a let-down
