The welcome, the cleanliness, the activities for children and adults alike, and the friendliness of the activity leaders. The only downside was the Wi-Fi, but that was mainly an issue for our teenager. It was perfect.

The Montana Parc is ideally situated in Gassin, in the Var, at the foot of the hilltop medieval village, which is listed as one of the most beautiful in France. The estate covers 31 hectares of wooded, shaded grounds, dominated by oak and umbrella pines. This exceptional setting, on the heights overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, offers a natural setting that is both peaceful and unspoilt, whilst remaining close to iconic landmarks. The nearest beaches at Les Marines de Gassin are around 4 km away, and the legendary beaches of Pampelonne are around 11 km away. For on-site water fun, the campsite features a large aquatic area comprising two outdoor swimming pools (one of which is heated depending on the weather and open all year round), a hot tub (Jacuzzi), three-lane water slides and a water play area for younger children.

The campsite offers a wide range of sports and leisure facilities for all ages. Holidaymakers can enjoy a fitness centre (with a weight training/cardio room and a CrossFit area), tennis courts, 2 padel courts, multi-sports pitches and a mini-golf course. In high season (July/August), the entertainment team organises a programme of sports activities during the day (aqua aerobics, tournaments) and evening entertainment (shows, concerts, themed evenings) to create a friendly atmosphere. During this same period, younger guests can have fun at the Kids’ Club (ages 4–11) and the Teen Club (ages 12–17), which offer supervised activities in dedicated areas.

The Montana Parc does everything possible to ensure your comfort. The accommodation (mobile homes, bungalows, eco-lodges) is modern and well-equipped, featuring air conditioning and a furnished terrace. For your convenience, you’ll find a restaurant, a bar, a snack bar/ice cream parlour and a takeaway service on site. A mini-market with a bread counter is also available from April to September. The campsite offers Wi-Fi (subject to a charge across most of the site), a launderette, and one parking space included per accommodation unit. Security is ensured with the site closed off at night and security patrols.

During the summer school holidays, children aged 4–11 can join the mini club, which is open 6 days a week (subject to booking and a fee), or have fun in the playground, whilst those aged 12–17 can meet up at the teens’ club.

Positive points:
The overall organisation is very good and the main site is very pleasant and suitable for all ages.
Areas for improvement:
- Irregular hot water supply in the mobile home
- Wi-Fi was available for a fee but could not be accessed in the mobile home (a refund was requested and granted by the campsite management).

Many guests are not from France . More English please example to present this questionnaire in English and to add foreign canals on the tv.

I have visited the site with family many times over many years. The site and area inc. beaches are still great.

The pool area has seen slight improvements.

The bar area has changed… and not for the better. It’s now not possible to have a nice meal, the focus is instead on the stage, every night...

Not at all comfortable. Beds were horribly hard. Crowded. Kitchen had inadequate equipment. 16 glasses but none of them a wine glass. 16 cups but no mugs No oven. Would have appreciated some cushions on the outdoor chairs and some sun loungers or a parasol.

We had an amazing stay with 2 young children recently. It is a friendly environment and the location is perfect to visit beaches, local towns or villages. The local restaurant, mini market and facilities on site are all very helpful and the children were entertained in the pools, slides, play park, boules,...

We`ve been coming here for the last 25 years.We`ve seen lots of changes over the years,all for the better.The restaurant serves excellent food,and during the summer months has entertainment on most nights.
3 pools,including a smaller childrens pool and a larger one for people who want to really swim...
