It enjoys a privileged location by the sea on the famous Côte Vermeille, between Argelès-sur-Mer (about 3 km away) and the picturesque village of Collioure. The campsite clings to the mountain, offering dreamy panoramic views of the Mediterranean and surrounding mountains. It has direct access to the sea and small natural coves, including Plage de l'Ouille and Crique de Porteils, and is close to the Cerbère-Banyuls marine nature reserve. For swimming, the campsite offers its guests a magnificent aquatic area with two swimming pools (one of which is heated), whirlpool baths, a spa and a paddling pool with two slides for the enjoyment of young and old alike.
The establishment offers a wide range of sports and leisure activities for all ages. Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the multi-sports pitch, tennis court (or half court) and table tennis tables (with loan of rackets included). Water sports activities are available on site, including free stand-up paddle lessons and kayak, SUP and Seascooter hire. For relaxation and well-being, yoga and Pilates classes are available, as well as aquagym and aquazen sessions. Nature lovers can take part in guided walks to discover the beauty of the region. For the younger ones, the Kids Club welcomes children aged 5 to 12 during the school holidays, with a varied programme including aqua games and creative and artistic workshops (art workshops, body painting, land-art). There are also activities for adults. A wellness area is available with a hairdresser, beautician, masseuse and reflexologist (for a fee).
In terms of services, Camping Les Criques de Porteils guarantees a comfortable and practical stay. Reception is open 24 hours a day and the campsite has Wi-Fi access for guests. For meals, there is a restaurant with a panoramic terrace offering local cuisine and takeaway dishes. There is also a mini-market (Vival), a newspaper stand and a hot-spot. There is also a launderette (for a fee), as well as baby kits and bed linen for hire (for a fee). Pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes are equipped with electrical hook-ups (10 A) and service areas are available for motorhomes, as well as recharging points for electric vehicles. The campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility (excluding accommodation). For the comfort of campers, the sanitary facilities are clean and heated.
