A really good campsite. The entertainment team were brilliant – my daughters loved it and want to come back. The internet connection isn’t working, which is a shame – it’s a bit of a nuisance when you’re trying to look things up online.

I used to be a regular at this campsite for several years before it became part of the Homair group, and the entertainment was brilliant, as was the restaurant – but this year it was a huge disappointment. I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. Even the snack bar isn’t as good as it used to be, and the children were disappointed they couldn’t have tacos. We had to go to another campsite in the hope of having a dance.

The entertainment could do with some improvement. Otherwise, everything is fine, and the staff are friendly. You can travel by bus to avoid having to use the car park, and it’s good value: one euro per journey for those over 6 years old and free for everyone else.

Above all, don’t change a thing. This is a proper campsite. There aren’t too many mobile homes, and they aren’t lined up in rows like at some of those mass-produced campsites. It’s absolutely essential to preserve the charm of this campsite and not try to ‘cram it full’ to maximise profits, given that it’s been taken over by Homair. So please don’t add any more mobile homes.

We had an excellent week here. This is the second time we’ve been.

A few minor points: the Wi-Fi; the ‘make-your-own’ cocktails need some preparation; the sundaes should be taken off the menu unless you improve them; pétanque balls should be available to borrow; stamps should be sold at reception for postcards; and you should provide a service to lend or sell tent pegs if guests forget to bring their own.

The food was excellent, especially the beef tartare!
