Family campsite by the river in Vézac, in the heart of the Périgord Noir. From Les Cinq Châteaux Campsite, five medieval castles can be seen at the same time. A rare and spectacular panorama to enjoy from your sun lounger or terrace.

The campsite’s location is its greatest asset. The castles of Castelnaud and Beynac, as well as the gardens of Marqueyssac, are just a 15-minute walk away along the Dordogne River. Perfect for a car-free holiday. Sarlat, ranked among the most beautiful medieval towns in France, is only 10 km away and can be reached by bus.

The campsite offers a wide range of accommodation options: shaded XL pitches of 200 m² by the river, mobile homes, lodge tents with private bathrooms, tiny houses, bohemian-chic chalets, and a group cottage accommodating up to 20 people, ideal for family gatherings or associations. The heated outdoor swimming pool, maintained at 26°C, offers direct views of the castles of Castelnaud and Beynac. Below the campsite, 300 metres of Dordogne riverbank are directly accessible for swimming or sunbathing on the pebbles.

On-site facilities include a snack bar serving local Périgord specialities (duck and cabécou burger, homemade fries), a grocery shop, laundry facilities, a children’s mini club, evening entertainment, hiking activities, Wi-Fi, and a fresh bread service. Canoe trips depart directly from the campsite. A ticket service for Beynac Castle is also available at reception.

Stayed here for 8 days during August 2025. A wonderfull campsite. The owners were really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Nice basic campground in between Beynac and Castelnaud. All sites seem to be among the trees. Huge sites next to the river. Basic bathroom facilities - very small shower stalls, some with no hooks to hang bags, etc, and seem not to be cleaned very often although they provide squeegies for campers to...

Really nice campsite next to the river Dordogne and within close reach of Beynac and other local attractions. Nice size pitches under trees. Facilities very good and very clean. Small shop in the reception which barely stocked anything at all. It would have been useful if it had more as the only supermarket...
