This year, go to the Domaine De La Cigaliere campsite, based in Le Cannet-des-Maures in the Var. Domaine de la Cigaliere is a family campsite on a human scale.
The location is perfect. Just 30 minutes from the beach, so you can enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside.
The region is full of superb places to visit and activities to do, whether as adults or as a family.
We stayed in a mobile home. It was clean, well equipped and very pleasant. Given the heat we were very happy to have a bit of fresh air when we returned from our activities with the air conditioning.
The swimming pool is very nice. The slide area in the paddling pool is an added bonus that delighted our little boy.

I'd like to mention the domain's website, which is very well done.
A little extra for ordering bread directly via the app :-)

If I had to improve one thing, it would be the continuous availability of wifi.
Nevertheless, we were on holiday and we were able to enjoy our stay without being monopolised by our mobile phones, which in itself is very good.

Exceptional good caravan site, we arrived expecting to stay for 2 or 3 nights and actually stayed for 25 nights. Great facilities, spotlessly clean. Lovely area for site seeing, close to the Mediterranean coast and would definitely recommend.

Le domaine est situé un peu à l'écart de l'autoroute et de la côte, ce qui en fait un endroit reposant où, effectivement, les cigales chantent et confère à ce lieu une atmosphère reposante digne du sud de la France. Pour découvrir la région ou aller sur la côte, il vaut mieux être véhiculé.
