Find out more about Clef VerteAre you looking for a campsite in the Aveyron, on a human scale, simple, where you can relax in the middle of big trees, a campsite next to a magnificent and wide loop of the river Tarn and where nothing is imposed but the sweetness of life and conviviality?
The Base Nautique campsite is located in the commune of Saint-Rome de Tarn in the Aveyron, on about two hectares planted with different species of trees, where rabbits and squirrels can often be seen.
The absence of a swimming pool inside the campsite will not prevent you from enjoying a leisure center including in season a beach with direct access at 30m with supervised swimming and a small restaurant with its feet in the water. Canoeing, small boat cruises, pedal boats and other distractions are accessible nearby, not forgetting the famous Baumes waterfall nestled in the heart of this preserved nature.
Water activities are numerous thanks to Saint-Rome Plage, the nautical base near the campsite (50m), on the banks of the Tarn: supervised swimming, canoe, kayak, pedal boat and paddles rental, to discover the Gorges des Raspes du Tarn, the Vallée de la Muse and the Cascade des Baumes...
If you are a canoe fan, you can also opt for a peaceful and family-friendly descent of the Tarn (under the Millau Viaduct). Depending on the route, you can expect to spend half a day to a full day.
As far as services are concerned, the establishment offers free wifi, a laundry and a bread deposit. There is also a restaurant along the river.
