The Var le Charlemagne campsite enjoys an exceptional location in Grimaud, on the French Riviera. Nestled at the end of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, offering fascinating panoramas alternating between ports at the water's edge, lakes, perched villages, crests and summits, this 4-star campsite welcomes you in a wooded park with a peaceful atmosphere where the Mediterranean scents of eucalyptus, mimosas, cork oaks and oleanders blend together.

Located between the Mediterranean beaches and the Massif des Maures, the location will delight both lovers of water sports and mountain bike enthusiasts and hikers. In the hinterland, medieval villages with authentic charm welcome you in their historic squares and markets full of delicious Provencal specialties.

Not in the mood for adventure? No problem, the campsite offers you a beautiful 18 meter swimming pool with a paddling pool where aquagym classes and water polo tournaments are organized.
As for children, this friendly and family campsite offers a games room (table soccer, billiards, etc.) and a children's club which welcomes them 6/7 days in July and August.
The older ones will not be outdone with the presence of an outdoor fitness area, the regular organization of sports tournaments (volleyball, petanque, table tennis, water polo...), or even golf or karting near the campsite.

A multitude of services will be proposed to you: the cordial team of the reception is at your disposal for any request, and the offer of restoration includes, in addition to the restoration and the bar, a deposit of bread and viennoiseries which will avoid you having to leave the camp-site to go to the bakery before your breakfast. We really appreciated :
- the warm welcome and the family atmosphere,
- the availability and kindness of everyone,
- a team full of enthusiasm, to take over their activity, after the disaster of last year,
- the very comfortable mobile-home, nicely decorated, where everything has been thought of : crockery, kitchen utensils ... to make our stay a success,
- The swimming pool is very pleasant.
A quiet campsite, where we could rest and where we will return with pleasure.

There is a nice pool and a restaurant, but the campground is not kept well. The stuff ist quite unfriendly. The camping is too far away from Saint Tropez and from the sea. And it is too expensive for what it offers.

Camping à fuir absolument les gérant sont des voleurs et de très mauvaise fois. Aucune animation, une soirée par semaine desserte même les musiciens s’ennuie. Les enfants et surtout les ados ne sont les bienvenus. La pétanque s’arrête quand le patron le décide en éteignant les lumières...

camping agréable sans plus, 3 étoiles lui conviendrait mieux. Monsieur et madame les propriétaires très bien par contre le fils est d'une vulgarité phénoménale pour peu que vous fassiez un faux pas. "dégagez... et autres insultes. Coupe l'électricité donc plus de clim avec 40 ° et un bébé...
