- Take a train or bus to Poggibonsi and from there take a bus to San Gimignano. From San Gimignano, the shuttle bus runs every hour to S. Lucia and will take you directly to the campsite entrance.

- From the north of Italy: take the A1 (E35), exit at Firenze-Impruneta, follow the Siena-Firenze motorway towards Siena, then take the Poggibonsi NORD...

I liked it:
The proximity to the beautiful village of San Gimignano, the bus line at the foot of the campsite, the swimming pool, the cleanliness of the bungalow, the very functional nature of the bungalow.

I did not like:
Sloping floor (not practical for those in tents), no terrace to eat outside in front of the bungalow), mosquitoes from 7pm!

No car access at night! Car next to the mobile home late at night with doors slamming and chatting which woke us up several nights around 1am.

I really liked this camping. Lots of trees, quiet, clean. The restaurant had good prices, good coffee and pastry and good service.

It’s very easy to find this peaceful campsite, just a kilometre or two outside one of Italy’s most visited small towns. We were made very welcome when we arrived and allowed to choose our own pitch amongst the established trees. The site had all the facilities we needed, plus a well-supported restaurant...

Location is great (visit San Gimignano in the evening for dinner, so much nicer than during day-time).
The campsite is (too) steep to walk, and not much to do for the kids.
Great band in the evening, but quite loud...
We rented a tent, which was not clean (actually old and dirty) and a lot of mosquitos...

We stayed here for 10 nights.

Positives: we had a great sized pitch with shade (although we felt sorry for some of the tents on uneven, stony ground) toilet/showers/washing facilities good and kept clean (although smelly drains after rain); bus service into San Gimignano (€4.80 return for 2 adults)....

This camping ground is easily one of the nicest I have stayed on. Bathrooms, pool and other shared areas was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly.
