A vacation at Barco Reale means waking up every day to the most beautiful view of the Tuscan hills. Barco Reale is built on a hilltop in the heart of a pine and oak forest. Located between beautiful cities such as Florence and its famous museums, Pisa and its beautiful tower and Pistoia, your stay at Barco Reale will allow you to fully immerse yourself in Italy. Less than an hour's drive from the campsite, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the fine sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, enough to delight young and old alike!

With 3 pools (the largest of which is 1 metre deep) offering a breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills, the Barco is a place to relax and unwind. With a breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills, the Barco Reale campsite welcomes you with a brand-new infinity pool for children, complete with slide. To make your days even more enjoyable, the campsite offers you the chance to take part in a cookery course, visit wine cellars, take part in guided walks and reach the Pistoia and Empoli railway stations with our shuttle service. It's a great way to multiply your family's activities. The Barco Reale animation team will also look after your little ones in the afternoons in July and August.

Pizzas, spaghetti, ice creams, Tuscan wines... Italian immersion continues with the campsite's various food services. With ingredients from the campsite's own vegetable garden or from neighbouring farmers, come and treat yourself at the Barco Reale campsite!

The Barco Reale pools, open from 18/05 to 29 September, are divided into two sections: one for adults and one for children. are divided into two sections: one for adults and one for children. We thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip. We initially planned to stay for a short while, but the experience was so captivating that we extended our stay by two weeks. The campsite offered a stunning view of a Tuscan valley, which we could enjoy even while relaxing in the swimming pool.

We arrived around 18:00 in the evening after a long trip from Denmark.

Caravaners beware of hard right turn.

Traveling from the North on the roads from Pistoia the turning into the site is a very hard right. There’s little signage for the site. Impossible manoeuvre with a larger caravan. Advice, continue on the road 3.5 miles down to Lamporecchio. There’s a roundabout there to turn around and go back up...
