Camping Au Coeur des Vignes

Excellent value for money. A small, intimate campsite, very affordable and well located, just a stone’s throw from the pretty village of Arbois and not far from some lovely attractions (waterfalls, caves). Although the view from the campsite isn’t anything to write home about (a football stadium and a few blocks of flats), the proximity to the vineyards makes it a lovely spot. Free access to the adjoining outdoor municipal swimming pool is a bonus, as is the peaceful atmosphere. In summer, the neighbouring village of Mesnay hosts a local market on Tuesday evenings where you can grab a bite to eat (local, fresh and organic produce; a friendly atmosphere). Room for improvement: the toilet facilities, which are rather dated. The lack of cleanliness is down more to the inconsiderate behaviour of users than to the maintenance carried out by the staff, who are regular and thorough. Some pitches lack shade. But the campsite remains pleasant and its price is unbeatable.

I really appreciate the (cool) common room provided, complete with fridges, a freezer, a thermos flask, a microwave, books and a comfortable sofa! Thank you very much for this thoughtful touch!

Very friendly and attentive hosts. New mobile homes.quiet camping pitches or spacious caravans or even tents.good home-cooked meals available. Very well situated for excursions, not a huge campsite with games and lots of noisy activities. It was a quiet and relaxing campsite, clean, well maintained and very green. Would recommend.
