Take the A1 motorway (Autostrada del Sole). Then take the Bettolle / Val di Chiana exit. Then take the E45 towards Perugia and exit at Castiglione del Lago. Continue for a mile and when you reach the Borghetto junction, turn left, the campsite is opposite.

Badiaccia Camping Village has two outdoor swimming pools: one for adults and one for children. Access is free of charge for campsite guests. It is compulsory to wear a swimming cap. It should also be noted that children must always be supervised by an adult as swimming is not supervised. The campsite also has a private, landscaped sandy beach with a green lawn, sun loungers and parasols.

I liked the location of the campsite and the space in the mobile homes.
However, the mobile home was poorly equipped: no sink plug (request made but not met), not enough cutlery, not enough plates and dessert plates for 5 people...
A big problem with the price differences for air-conditioning and cleaning noted on our travel documents and the prices displayed at the campsite.
We should also point out that the lake is not accessible from the campsite beach when the water level is too low: access is muddy and unpleasant, and the smell is unpleasant. However, the lake is very pleasant from the stony beaches.

We had a good stay at this campsite which is very well situated in a natural setting with beautiful spots on the lake. We were able to visit big cities like Rome and Florence by taking the train 5 minutes away from the campsite (saving us the hassle of travelling and parking). However, we did not expect such promiscuity between the bungalows. Even if fortunately the atmosphere was respectful and calm around us. The campsite being under a pine forest, the shade of the pines was appreciable in view of the heat wave and the coolness of the nights. It is a pity that the access to the lake from the campsite beach is not inviting for swimming because of the large amount of algae and mud. Swimming is easily accessible from Casteglione del Lago, which is a beautiful village with all amenities.

So many great things about this site: good pitches, clean toilets, great restaurant with nice food, lovely common areas for sunbathing, great pool etc…but for us it was all about the people! I broke my back after a fall in our Motorhome and had to spend two weeks in Perugia hospital. Everyone was AMAZING...

the place is beautiful, the entertainment was a spectacle the entertainers were very good. The entertainers are good, they have responsibilities and they make you have fun. The animators of the miniclub are Giorgia and Sara.
