Thuysgrond is a natural holiday site in the Brabantse Kempen and is aimed at families who want to spend quality time together. Away from the hustle and bustle and mass tourism, you can spend the night... here in cosy cabins or atmospheric bell tents. The focus is on slowing down, experiencing nature and special moments in a peaceful, green environment.
Facilities at Thuysgrond
Thuysgrond offers a wide range of facilities for guests who want to live, move and enjoy the outdoors. Numerous walking and cycling routes start directly from the site and take you through the varied landscape of the Kempen. The open and peaceful surroundings create plenty of space to relax, play or simply spend time in nature. Various options are available for active moments. On the sports and boot camp meadow, you can burn off energy, blow off steam or set off on a round of trail running. Those who prefer a quieter pace can play a game of jeu de boules, explore the surrounding area or simply enjoy the moment in the countryside. A special part of the holiday is cooking together outside by the fire pits. This is where families come together, share meals and relax at the end of the day. Thanks to the natural, darker surroundings, Thuysgrond is also ideal for stargazing in the evening. Guests on horseback are also welcome at Thuysgrond. A separate horse railway offers the opportunity to rest and care for your horse after a ride through the Kempen.
The offer is complemented by WLAN and washing and drying facilities. There are also regular atmospheric events, workshops and live music, which provide special experiences for young and old.
Restaurant Thuysgrond
The Gasterij is the centrepiece of Thuysgrond. Here they cook with love and seasonal ingredients from their own vegetable garden. You can have breakfast, lunch or, on selected days, dinner here. The covered terrace with stretch tent is particularly pleasant, where you can sit outside in almost any weather. The atmosphere is warm, informal and family-friendly - ideal for a meal together, a coffee in between or a relaxing evening in the countryside.
