Poor soundproofing between flats – you can hear your neighbours very clearly! The bathroom is tiny, with a step-over bath. It’s not at all practical – a shower would be much appreciated. The living room has a sofa bed, so you have to move the table and chairs every day to unfold

Poor soundproofing between flats – you can hear your neighbours very clearly! The bathroom is tiny, with a step-over bath. It’s not at all practical – a shower would be much appreciated. The living room has a sofa bed, so you have to move the table and chairs every day to unfold the bed. On the other hand, the location is ideal, with stunning surroundings. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The swimming pool is excellent. The holiday complex is a 2-minute walk from the village centre. You can pop to the bakery in no time. With the few improvements mentioned above, this holiday complex would be nothing short of perfect.

Renting the flat during a heatwave.
The property was built 50 years ago.
No air conditioning – the night was unbearable.
Window open, all-out war on mosquitoes.
