We arranged to stay overnight at VVF, en route from Dieppe to Paris, cycling the Avenue Verte. Our ferry was late, meaning we’d miss the 7pm closure of reception. But never mind, they stayed open until we arrived at 7.20. The receptionist was all smiles. She made sure our bikes were securely locked...
