Nestled in Saint-Augustin-sur-Mer in Charente-Maritime, between the forests and the sea, the 4-star Camping La Ferme enjoys an ideal location right next to the beaches. This campsite is an excellent base from which to explore the region’s treasures, such as La Palmyre Zoo, the seaside resort of Royan,the Île d’Oléron and Fort Boyard. When it comes to swimming, the site features a comprehensive aquatic area comprising a heated indoor pool open from spring onwards, a heated outdoor pool, a paddling pool with water features for the little ones, and water slides.
On site, there is a wide range of sports and leisure facilities, including a multi-sports pitch, a pétanque court, a street workout area, table tennis tables, a playground and a 9-hole mini-golf course. In July and August, the campsite comes alive from Monday to Friday with daytime sports activities and themed evenings (shows, karaoke). Your children are also well looked after at the Kids’ Club (ages 5–7) and the Junior Club (ages 8–12), where activity leaders organise treasure hunts, creative workshops and mini-disco sessions.
To ensure a stress-free stay, the campsite offers a range of practical services, including the ‘Le Pili Pili’ Bistrot Pizzeria with takeaway meals, a bar, a mini-market and a bike hire service. You’ll also have access to Wi-Fi, a launderette, a ticket office for local attractions and communal barbecues. The site is fully accessible to guests with reduced mobility and holds the ‘Tourisme et Handicap’ accreditation.
