When I arrived, the fridge wasn’t working. I spent two hours without a fridge, with food left out, trying to find one that worked. Then there was hair in the kitchen sink and stains – either tomato sauce or blood – all over thekitchen sink – which may explain my dissatisfaction when I checked the flat at 4 pm. BUT I have to admit that as soon as the site manager took charge, the matter waswas sorted out much more quickly, so I can still put a smile on my face, and she even came back on Wednesday to suggest an activity for the little ones. It’s true that at the time I was very angry! As for reception, I have no complaints at all – on the contrary, the staff were always smiling and welcoming, giving clear and helpful explanations. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and on hand to meet our needs; the children had a brilliant time and it’s a relaxing place whereyou can always find something to do, whether you’re young or old. We’ll definitely go back – just one minor criticism regarding the cleanliness.

The VAL JOLY campsite was a lovely surprise – it’s a very peaceful, tree-lined site, and the staff are very friendly. A few bits and pieces could do with a bit of a refresh here and there, but nothing too serious. A nice bonus is the discounts on activities at the leisure centre for campsite guests. I’d recommend it.
