Marinapark Volendam is situated on the IJssel lake, a few steps from the old port of Volendam. Nowhere in the Netherlands can you find as much Dutch tradition as in Volendam. The centre of Amsterdam is 20 minutes away from the park. During your stay, you will have free access to the swimming pool.
The park offers many facilities, including a children's playground, an indoor swimming pool and boat and bicycle rental services. The holiday village is about ten minutes walk from the centre of Volendam, an internationally renowned fishing village. This area offers many possibilities, such as water sports, beautiful bike rides and a pleasant trip to Amsterdam. Visit the mills at the Zaanse Schans museum in Koog aan de Zaan or, on Friday mornings, the cheese market in Alkmaar.
There is a supermarket in the park. The park has many facilities including a private marina and a small beach. Walk to the centre in the evening and enjoy a delicious dinner in a good fish restaurant. Be sure to take the time to explore the beautiful surroundings. You can go to the famous "dike" where there are many terraces, souvenir shops and a lovely friendly and lively atmosphere.
Good to know
Groups
If you wish to stay at the holiday park as a group, this must be announced in advance. The holiday park may refuse groups or charge a higher deposit.
Youth
Reservations can only be made by persons over 21 years old.
Pets
Pets are allowed in most accommodation. If you wish to bring a pet, you pay a pet surcharge per pet per night and final cleaning is obligatory. If you cannot bring pets when making the reservation, unfortunately there are no accommodations available where pets are allowed in the type of your choice.
Note: Bungalow VO6
The 6-pers. bungalow VO6 is an upstairs flat and consists of so-called dike houses and water houses. The dike houses are accessible via the ground floor, but have a staircase in the house. One of the bathrooms is always on the upper floor. To enter the water houses, a substantial staircase has to be climbed. If you have preferences, please specify them.
Koos Kids Club + leisure programme
The Koos Kids Club and recreational programme are only present in the months of July and August. In the other months, the Koos Kids Club is closed and there is no recreational programme.

Please note that the interior and exterior may differ from the photos in real life. The photos are an indication of what you can expect at the park. It is therefore possible that your allocated cottage differs in terms of furnishing and appearance from what is shown in the photos.

Volendam fairground 2024
On the weekend of 6 to 9 September 2024 is the famous fair in Volendam. This event attracts many visitors and may involve noise pollution. Marinapark Volendam has no influence on this, but we will inform you in advance. Final cleaning per accommodation and bed linen per person are compulsory during this period. You also have to pay an extra deposit of €50 per person, which will be refunded to you after your departure provided no nuisance or damage was caused during your stay. Monday 9 September 2024 is the last day of the fair in Volendam. This may cause inconvenience. Please also note that shops and catering establishments may be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
