The seaside resort of Les Sables d'Olonne is situated in the heart of a natural environment that is conducive to peace and escape, and boasts great tourist potential. This coastal town enjoys a privileged location and offers a variety of landscapes. By renting a holiday flat in Les Sables d'Olonne, you can enjoy an exceptional coastline, alternating between beautiful sandy beaches and rocky areas, and enriched by the presence of marshes and a national forest. The Olonne state forest, made up of pines and holm oaks, is 11 km long and is ideal for family walks.

In Olonne-sur-Mer, between Nantes and La Rochelle, you can discover the wild, unspoilt setting of Les Grands Rochers, a residence of houses divided into hamlets.

Right next to the beach, Les Grands Rochers is a 3-star development of semi-detached houses in unspoilt surroundings, with a heated indoor swimming pool, a heated outdoor swimming pool with children's pool and an outdoor pool with slides, open from 04/04/26 to 26/09/26, weather permitting. There is also a fitness room and sauna (extra charge). In July and August, take advantage of the teen/adult entertainment and mini children's club (6-10 years, 5 sessions of 2 hours minimum per week).

Sauveterre beach is 1,500 m away (20 minutes' walk), accessible via a footpath and cycle path starting from the residence. The ocean beaches are around 2500m away. Shuttle bus stop in front of the residence serving the town centre (line 8), 2 shuttles in the morning and evening (3 during school holidays).

Résidence Goélia Les Grands Rochers is a 3-star campsite located in Olonne-sur-Mer (now part of Les Sables-d'Olonne), in the Vendée. It enjoys a wild and unspoilt setting, between the national forest, the old salt marshes and the Atlantic coast. The establishment is ideally located around 1.5 km from the sea and Sauveterre beach, which is directly accessible via a footpath and cycle path. Nature lovers will appreciate the proximity of the wild coastline and the large sandy beaches of Les Sables-d'Olonne (around 4 km away). For your aquatic relaxation, the residence has a lovely area with a heated indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool with paddling pool and waterslide (outdoor pool opens at Easter, weather permitting).

For your leisure activities, the residence offers facilities for all ages. Adults can enjoy a fitness room and sauna with free access for getting back into shape. In high season (July and August), the establishment offers a free Mini-Club for children aged 4 to 12, which organises fun and sporting activities (games, workshops, muscle-building). Sports activities for adults and teenagers are also available in summer. The surrounding area lends itself to a host of outdoor activities, including walking or cycling (bike hire available nearby) along the Vélodyssée cycle paths, water sports (surfing, sailing, sea kayaking) and excursions to discover the heritage of the Vendée, such as the Château de Talmont-Saint-Hilaire or the salt marshes.

The residence is made up of comfortable, detached houses. The accommodation consists of fully-equipped studios or flats, with a kitchenette (hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and coffee maker) and a private bathroom. For your convenience, outdoor parking is included. Wi-Fi is available free of charge at reception. For an additional fee, the residence offers a breakfast service, TV rental, and bed and bathroom linen rental. A laundry service is also available (at an additional cost).

Disappointing - it is my view the apartment was tired, unkempt and lacked cleanliness.

In my personal experience I would not recommend this residence, it was expensive for an apartment which was unkempt and most uncomfortable.
- plates were cracked, mugs were discolored and dirty
- Sofa bed required to be replaced/worn
