Situated at an altitude of 1350 metres on the Bonascre plateau, this residence offers a breathtaking view of the peaks of the Haute-Ariège. You'll be staying in an unspoilt natural setting, at the foot of hiking trails and just a few minutes from the centre of Ax-les-Thermes thanks to the cable car linking the resort to the spa town. For your summer relaxation, the establishment has a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool, so you can enjoy the pleasures of the water against the green backdrop of the Pyrenees.

In terms of leisure activities, the residence is an ideal gateway to the great outdoors. Although the establishment does not offer in-house activities, you are at the heart of an exceptional area: the Bike Park at Ax-3-Domaines for mountain bikers, canyoning trips in the neighbouring valleys or hikes to the Etang de Bésines. For total relaxation, take advantage of the residence's wellness area with sauna and hammam (extra charge), or head down to the town to try the natural hot waters of the Bains du Couloubret.

The flats are comfortable, spacious and decorated in a warm mountain style. Each flat is fully equipped for total independence, with a modern kitchenette (dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob) and a balcony to enjoy the fresh air. For your convenience, there is Wi-Fi at reception, free outdoor parking and a linen hire service. The residence accepts pets, ideal for exploring the Ariège forests with your family.

Very pleasant stay spent from 30 March to 1 April 2024 at the residence les Balcons d' AX as usual it's been quite a few years that I take camping.com and I trust them with my eyes closed
I even recommend them to my family and friends
