In Haute-Savoie, far from everyday life and pollution, everything seems simple and peaceful. Look up and see the peaks almost touching the clouds. You already feel the irrepressible urge to climb them and feel like kings of the world at the end of the road. From a tree-lined path that follows the course of the Dranse to a signposted long-distance footpath that climbs to a panoramic viewpoint, you'll be spoilt for choice as to which direction to take.

Hiking, mountain biking, tree climbing, tobogganing, fishing or swimming in a mountain lake, via ferrata, canoeing, rafting, flying between two mountains, hanging from a cable or on a paraglider... What do all these activities have in common? The jovial feeling of freedom that takes hold of you at every moment. There's no doubt that your holiday in Châtel is all about discovery and letting go!

Ideally located in Châtel, just 600 metres from the resort centre and its shops, the Goélia Le Grand Lodge residence puts you at the heart of the Alpine experience. Access to the slopes is made easy by a free shuttle bus stop right in front of the residence, which drops you off at the foot of the Linga gondola in just a few minutes. This lift is your gateway to the fabulous Portes du Soleil ski area and its 650 km of pistes, one of the largest in the world, linking France and Switzerland for skiing without borders.

The Le Grand Lodge residence, with its Savoyard architecture combining stone and wood, offers very comfortable flats, ranging from 2-room apartments for 4 people to 5-room apartments for 10 people. Spacious, bright and decorated with care, all the flats have a balcony or terrace where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Abondance valley and the surrounding mountains. The warm ambience and comprehensive facilities of each flat make it the perfect place to relax with family or friends.

To round off your stay after an intense day's skiing, the residence gives you access to a superb wellness area. You can relax in the heated indoor swimming pool, whirlpool bath, sauna or hammam. A fitness room is also available for the more active guests. These top-of-the-range facilities guarantee moments of pure relaxation and conviviality, adding a touch of serenity to your mountain holidays.
