The restaurant is casual, relaxed and accessible to all. During the day, the Living Room Lounge invites you to linger, and from spring, the evening restaurant will also open again regularly. Pean-Buiten Weidum is located directly on the famous Eleven Cities Route - ideal for discovering historic places such as Leeuwarden, Sneek, IJlst and Franeker by bike. Old alleyways, canals and atmospheric terraces by the water characterise the Frisian way of life. Just 5 kilometres away is Leeuwarden, a historic city with over 600 monuments. Here you can climb the Oldehove, visit the Fries Museum or simply stroll through the charming streets. The location offers the perfect mix of city and nature: experience culture during the day and enjoy the tranquillity of the Frisian countryside in the evening.
Cyclists and hikers also get their money's worth. From junctions 56 and 27, you can cycle directly into the vast meadows - along the Elfsteden route or in the direction of Sneek and Leeuwarden.
