The Confolant estate is a remarkable site. The view from the balcony is "just magnificent". We were looking for peace and quiet and we found it here. Having breakfast facing this lake and these mountains is a very pleasant moment. The location is quite good in relation to the main things to do in the Puy de Dôme. The two more 'negative' points are the lack of insulation compared with the adjoining flats. If groups of people decide to party when you want to sleep, you hear everything and the second point to improve would be the swimming pool's opening hours. It's only open from 12pm to 6.30pm, but when we go out for the day to discover the area we'd like to take a dip in the pool on the way back, but it's already closed, so closing at 8pm wouldn't be a bad idea. Otherwise, we had a great week at the estate. It's a must-see place.
