Once they have seen everything, the children can take part in one of the children's academies. Among other things, the little ones can take part in the Tinker Academy, where they put together the most beautiful creations. Tough kids can climb in the Adventure Academy or build with wood in the Building Academy. Inquisitive minds can discover how people used to live at the Archaeology Academy.

The luxurious Hof van Saksen resort is surrounded by beautiful nature. The Drentsche AA National Park, for example, is only 3 kilometres away. In this vast landscape, you can walk for hours through the woods. You can also cycle along the winding roads and picturesque villages. Visit the village of Rolde, for example, where you can admire two dolmens. Children love to go to Kabouterland in Exloo. Here they can have a great day in the fairytale underworld with trolls, gnomes and special exotic animals.
