You can also hit a tennis ball, play a game of bocce, or swim/relax in one of the two public swimming pools nearby. FranceComfort L'Aveneau has a heated swimming pool, open from the end of April to the end of September.

The fairytale marshland with small canals and picturesque bridges stretches for 60 kilometres, from Niort to the Atlantic Ocean. Culture is not far away either; medieval Poitiers, with its Église Notre-Dame la Grande and many historical monuments, is a true city of culture. An hour and a half away is La Rochelle, a cosy coastal town near Fort Boyard!
