All the staff were very friendly, the campsite was very clean and the bungalow was very well looked after – just what you need for a lovely holiday

The campsite is quite well situated for exploring the region, but access and traffic are a bit of a hassle. There’s a lovely water park for young and old alike, and it’s clearly geared towards families.
There’s a lack of entertainment for a 4-star campsite, particularly given the prices charged; this is the main area for improvement. Also, the inflatable play equipment isn’t available all day, nor is the swimming pool, which closes at 7 pm (even during this heatwave).
The takeaway breakfast pastries service is quite handy but only available from 8.30 am. Tents must be vacated by 10 am (even for an early departure where the following day’s stay has been paid for; a shame) and the welcome was rather cool on our arrival.
